Our Curriculum Grows With Your Child
SELosophy is an ongoing, play-based social-emotional curriculum for children in prek-1st grade. Through storytelling, movement, art, and reflection, students build emotional intelligence and confidence that grows with them month after month, year after year.
Our Approach
Whole Child. Whole Heart.
-
We believe social-emotional learning should feel magical not mechanical. SELosophy blends CASEL-aligned practices with play, creativity, and reflection. Children engage all parts of themselves as they grow emotionally:
Story-based learning
Creative art expression
Music & mindful movement
Community-building share circles
Each 45-minute session is developmentally responsive, culturally attuned, and guided by our original Flower of Self framework.
A Year of Emotional Growth
What We Teach
-
SELosophy is designed to be a yearly journey but flexible enough to meet children where they are. Sessions are grouped into monthly themes like:
Self-Awareness — Naming emotions, building identity, celebrating self
Self-Management — Calming strategies, emotional regulation, making choices
Social Awareness — Empathy, perspective-taking, and seeing others
Relationship Skills — Friendship, listening, and kind communication
Responsible Decision-Making — Problem-solving and inner guidance
We adapt for 1–3 sessions per week based on your site’s schedule.
